I've tried four different free editing programs, but each one has annoying paywalls. Filmora adds a watermark that takes up almost half my screen when I export. Lighhtworks limits resolution to 720p. Davinci Resolve is weird because it only accepts MP4s with specific codes, forcing me to use converters instead. Some converters are slow and only let me convert for a few minutes at a time. I tried the new Windows Movie Maker for Windows 10, but it feels like garbage—it's hard to use and seems to be missing most features of the original version. All I need is to cut up a long video (about 3 hours), speed some parts to make timelapses between the important scenes, and not plan on using these videos for commercials.
