Dishable SATA 1. It is not part of the BIOS setting, yet it works within Windows.

SSDs do not spin. The AV is just reading files; it isn't writing to the drive. Most consumer SSDs fail too quickly if used heavily because of this wear. Turning off power completely won't extend their life at all. If you're really concerned about failure, buy a physical switch that turns the controller off: https://www.amazon.com/Switch-Module-Ind...Protection. But it's not actually a big problem in practice.

No, I don't see that. But what's wrong with trying it?

I just need my hard drives when editing something. So thinking about saving their lives, is it worth cutting them off?

If you aren't actually typing on a computer keyboard, your hard drive won't get older or break faster.

Yeah, but sometimes the antivirus makes them spin around all over the place right after it starts working. It opens Explorer too, just to mess with things.

SSDs don't actually spin around inside them. They just read data without writing it back to the drive. Consumer hard drives are already getting old from being used too many times, so that's no longer an issue for modern ones. Turning off power completely won't change how long they last. If you're really concerned, you can add a physical switch like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Switch-Module-Ind...Protection But honestly, it doesn't matter much at all.

Most people start to wear clothes just after they begin spinning, and that's what I understand too. Thanks anyway!

Hey, I guess I was wrong about turning off those hard drives. My bad! Even if the computer thinks the disks are sleeping, they're still moving around when it's not using them. So unless you've specifically set that to sleep mode, they won't stop spinning just because your system says so.
