SSDs do not spin. The AV is just reading files; it isn't writing to the drive. Most consumer SSDs fail too quickly if used heavily because of this wear. Turning off power completely won't extend their life at all. If you're really concerned about failure, buy a physical switch that turns the controller off: https://www.amazon.com/Switch-Module-Ind...Protection. But it's not actually a big problem in practice.
