Hi,
do you know any iPhone apps that use your real-time location to detect speed limits and sound an alarm if you exceed them? Ideally, they should keep playing until you return below the limit. I think these might work in most countries, but if not, I’m hoping for a UK-friendly option. Thanks always!

Completely unrelated, thank you for the suggestion. Actually, both of my newer vehicles have a built-in function you can activate for an overspeed alert. These features are universal and not tied to any specific region, unlike things like speed traps. I’m not sure if Google Maps provides a visual warning when you exceed the posted speed, especially since data availability varies by area. Similarly, I don’t know of a slider or similar option that would trigger an audible alert unless it’s managed through accessibility settings.

I wouldn't rely on an app for this... Just focus on your driving and speed. Straightforward, no jargon. Better safe.
Unlikely the judge will show much understanding if you point the finger at the app. Even if it has issues.

Thank you. I am already paying close attention to the street signs. I would appreciate additional elements to enhance my confidence.

We attempted to access this on my son's iPhone yesterday. It appears it only displays posts, not the latest updates.
