I powered up my impressive PC to look into Steam deals (getting the Saints Row series). Suddenly my firewall activated with a loud noise. A malware was found under the Minecraft launcher. When I tried to check everything, it reported an invalid Windows 10 version and blocked the PC from starting. After scanning, four viruses were detected—one of them a Trojan—which I removed. My system is now safe again, though I’m still confused about what happened. Any ideas?

Yes, I have a verified version of Minecraft and Windows available. What security software are you using?

I think I understand it, and sure, I have an official version, but whatever the game is!
