Hi,
I'm trying to set up a wallpaper slideshow on just one monitor within a three-monitor setup.
I have a dual-screen monitor already, and I'm considering using my spare portable monitor as an additional display for photos. It's connected as a third screen.
Windows lets you enable a slideshow, but it shows across all three screens.
I need the third screen to automatically start full-screen when the PC turns on, without a taskbar, while keeping the other two monitors unchanged with their static wallpapers.
I also want a folder where I can store photos for the slideshow, making it easy to add or remove images.
I thought a wallpaper slideshow would be the simplest solution, but it doesn't seem to work as expected.
Is there another method or third-party tool I should try?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does the wallpaper slideshow software include a specific window? If yes, as I see it, just relocate that dedicated window to your preferred monitor and make sure to maximize it for viewing the slideshow. Confirm you can do this. After confirming it works manually, the next step would be to automate the process—perhaps by recording the actions and playing them at startup. Or it might require a script or code. To be determined.

I considered a third-party slideshow application that operates in its own window and displays on the target monitor. For instance:
https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/...n-us&gl=US
In the description:
"Wallpaper Slideshow LT is a useful tool for showing your favorite photos as desktop backgrounds. It gives you full control over your collection and lets you quickly set your preferred images. The app is easy to use, intuitive, and includes comprehensive help. It supports multiple monitors, displaying different wallpapers on each."
