I recall playing Sunset Overdrive on the first Xbox, before the slim and pro versions came out. It was really fun. However, I relocated a long way south and left my consoles with my younger sister. Eventually, I got a Dell G7, but it didn’t have Sunset Overdrive. Now I see it’s supposed to be on Steam—anyone interested?
I still have the rights to the game and only played it for about 13 minutes. It seemed like a simple children's title. Not looking forward to a PC version. If it reaches $4.00 (the price I paid on Xbox One), I’ll likely buy it to enjoy it at 90-120 frames per second. If you can clarify why it isn’t a kids’ game, I’ll install and play it immediately on my One S in 4K (though I doubt it supports that). If it runs at around 30 fps, I probably won’t bother at all.
It’s not just a children’s title at all. The game offers complex systems and a wide range of weapons, making each approach to defeating enemies distinct. The narrative is light-hearted yet reminiscent of Deadpool, often breaking the fourth wall with sharp wit. Multiplayer feels unremarkable and forgettable. DLC adds value, extending the game’s lifespan. While it leans toward a more casual vibe, it’s still not aimed at kids. Your perspective matters, and you’re welcome to share your thoughts.
Sure thing. It's really quick and full of clever moments. The way you control the space is impressive. The game runs around ten hours, maybe a bit more. It's been a while since I played, and I haven't tried the new DLC yet.
It feels like a typical children's game with some elements of Dead Rising. I noticed a lot of untapped potential. Your movement was really smooth, though I believe the campaign was quite brief and didn’t make much use of it.
