Is there a resource about the thermal pad thickness for this GPU model?
GPU: Powercolor Radeon RX 6600 Fighter
Hello, I recently replaced my GPU which was overheating.
Before the repair, temperatures averaged around 80°C with peaks at 110°C. After installing Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, the average dropped to 77°C and the hotspot remained unchanged.
I also swapped out my thermal pads for UPSIREN ones, which helped lower the memory temps.
The pads I used were 1mm and 3mm, as shown in the photo:
1mm = green
3mm = red

My system specs are:
Motherboard: MSI B350M Gaming Pro
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: Powercolor Radeon RX 6600 Fighter 8GB
RAM: 2 x 8GB XLR8 3200mhz
SSD: Kingston A400 240GB
The thickness you're using seems almost identical to the standard, which might mean it's stiffer than regular stock:

The temperatures you're seeing suggest the cooler isn't positioned properly.
