Hi,
I switched the CPU from Core i5 2.6Ghz gen 9 to Core i7-9700KF 3.6GHz.
MB: Gigabyte B360 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI (f14bios).
Only slots 2 and 4 accept RAM.

When trying to install 16GB RAM in slot 2 – BIOS recognizes it correctly:

When attempting to add the second RAM in slot 4 – BIOS loops. On Mothreboard there are LED indicators for CPU and RAM (this model supports them).
When I insert RAM into slot 4 – 16GB is recognized in BIOS.
I’ve seen some discussions about this issue – could it be related to the new CPU?
Before making the change, I replaced the existing RAM.
After cleaning the motherboard and changing the RAM, the same problem persists.
What do you think? Should I replace the RAM or is there another issue with the new CPU?
what are your exact intentions, installing four RAM modules in every DIMM slot?
if you're using multiple memory kits, avoid that.
stick to single packaged RAM kits instead.
a single packaged 2x kit fits into DIMM slots A_2 and B_2.
if you believe you require four modules, opt for a 4x kit.
but a 2x 32GB kit would be a more practical choice.
Completed tasks multiple times, updated to F15, same problem persists.
Frequency settings are correct in Bios 2666mhz.
I own a Core i5 and experienced similar issues before switching RAM; after replacing the new RAM, the issue was resolved. Now considering changing CPU again, I wonder if another RAM type might help—perhaps the old RAM has the same problem as the new one.

- Make sure the cooler isn’t over-tightened and is evenly secured at all four corners.
I’ve had similar experiences before, so it might be worth giving it a shot.
I recently changed cases but all my parts remained identical. I didn't remove the memory, only took out the AIO cooler. After reassembly, it wouldn't post with it and caused a memory error. Noted that one side of the AIO coldplate was applying excessive pressure on the CPU. I slightly loosened the cooler and everything worked properly.
The system is a 9900k/ z370 / 4x8gb setup.
Did you inspect the socket for any damage as well?
Ram problems on Intel processors usually stem from a bent pin in the CPU socket. These sockets are fragile and intended for only 15 insertions. Issues like slots not working or lack of dual channel operation are frequent problems. A bent pin can easily form if the processor wasn’t placed neatly into the socket. Even slight movement to secure it may lead to damage. This type of damage is typically seen as a user error and shouldn’t be used as a reason for an RMA. You might be able to straighten the pin back with a needle, which could help.

I fixed the 5-pin socket. I borrowed a microscope electron. Spent 2 hours working hard and everything worked fine now. I'm now testing the CPU.
Testing took 4 hours and the CPU RAM works well. Thanks to everyone for your assistance.
