I haven’t updated much recently, except for OneDrive. But I think that’s not the main reason, since this problem has persisted even after a full Windows reinstall. So no external software (except built-in) seems likely to be the cause.
Now considering what you mentioned, higher temperatures make sense because a high clock speed often leads to increased heat. I’m confused about why it would run at 4200 under light load—this setting is usually for overclocking. In games, performance drops significantly in such situations, wasting computational power at high speeds.
