the format factory 2.95 worked well, but version 3.00 began to show instability and produced errors despite the conversion. upon opening it, I noticed the video didn’t reach the end, appearing corrupted.

Just a straightforward conversion? Like from avi to mp4 using h265? Perhaps adjust the resolution and eliminate the borders around the video. Handbrake would be the right option.

I prefer Avidemux because it functions similarly to Handbrake but offers a distinct interface.
