Hello everyone, I'm upgrading my main PC and exploring the AMD lineup. This is the first time I've had a new CPU since the Athlon era. I was considering the 9700K and everything seems okay. Then I thought about the R5 3600 and it's fine there. However, my RAM setup is a bit unusual. Two years ago I bought two 8GB TridentZ at 3200MHz each. Recently, in November 2019, I added another pair of 8GB TridentZ at the same speed. My question is: Would running dual-channel RAM in AM4 M.2 slots cause issues? Or should I purchase a full set with four sticks? Currently, my Z170 runs smoothly with 32GB at 3200MHz in dual channels across all four slots. My current build includes an MSI Z170-A Pro Gaming Carbon i7-6700K, a Gigabyte 1080Ti G.Skill TridentZ 32GB at 3200MHz.

Transitioned to CPUs, motherboards, and memory systems. No issues expected with this RAM when paired with the Ryzen 3600.

No apparent problems detected—just ensure a fresh OS installation to prevent odd issues from firmware conflicts

I'm confident about it. I wasn't sure if AMD handled RAM better. Thanks both! I'll give it a try.
