Hi there. My Asus G15 gaming laptop (Ryzen 9 5900hs, 16gb RAM, mobile RTX3070, 1tb SSD) runs flawlessly except for Minecraft. On other games like Rainbow 6 and Forza Horizon 4, it delivers smooth performance—200fps in ultra on Rainbow 6, 170fps in Forza Horizon 4, and 100fps in vanilla Minecraft with fast settings, low render distance, and no shaders. Even with BSL shaders, it drops to around 60fps at low settings and a render distance of 6. I had to manually switch Minecraft to use the RTX3070 properly, as it was otherwise unplayable. In Task Manager, when Minecraft runs, only a fraction of the GPU’s capacity is used, while the 3D rendering section claims 90-100% usage. In R6, GPU memory usage can reach up to 5GB, but never exceeds 70%. I’m really puzzled about why Minecraft is so difficult to run. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

What are your GPU and CPU temperatures? I understand laptops can experience throttling and shaders that strain most modern systems.
