Hello friends. I set up EA FIFA 23 last week, but occasionally it slows down to under 20 frames. When I played at the lowest settings in 1080p, the issue persisted. Here’s my computer setup: CPU i7 3770 3.4GHZ, RAM 16GB DDR 3 1600MHZ, GPU Gigabyte RX 580 8GB, SSD Western Digital Green 240GB, motherboard ASUS P8 H61 M LX3 Plus, power supply Green 500W. I’m curious about the cause of this frame drop and whether there’s a fix available.
The reason for the frame drop relates to the specifications you're using. There seems to be an issue with the power supply unit, which appears to be outdated. The PSU is a green 500W model.
I understand this brand might not be familiar to you. However, this power brand has been active in my country for several years and has proven its reliability.
I purchased this power supply similar to other computer components about a year ago.
The model I have is the Green GP500A-ECO, Economic Series 80 Plus.
I've run over 15 matches with this computer at high settings for 60 frames last year without any issues, including FIFA 23. What suggestions do you have to resolve the frame drop issue?

I would set up MSI Afterburner and turn on the on-screen display to monitor CPU and GPU utilization along with temperatures. I think one of these components might be operating at full capacity, restricting overall performance.
I set up the MSI Afterburner program and observed CPU and GPU monitoring data while playing FIFA for an hour. During the match, especially during intense moments like a goal celebration or slow animations, the game frame rate dropped to between 100 and 120 frames. The CPU usage remained high at 70-75% throughout, and the GPU stayed at full activity with temperatures around 65 to 70°C. In your view, the frame drop was likely caused by the graphics card operating at maximum capacity?
