Hey everyone, I received destiny in the monthly bundle on humble bundle and found it quite enjoyable. The main issue is that it tends to "crash" but not in a full restart scenario—just brings me back to my desktop. This mostly occurs during fights. My system specs are an i5-7400 GTX 1060 with 8 GB RAM. Any suggestions or insights?

Have you adjusted any performance settings? Disable any overclocking if present. Check for GPU driver updates.

It seems the issue might be related to your operating system. Certain software configurations can lead to crashes. You may want to reinstall the program to fix the problem.

Using this configuration usually works well, but I’m curious—does it only occur with this game? Or do you face similar issues under stress? Have you changed your CPU or GPU settings? If yes, revert to factory defaults and test again. Otherwise, update or reinstall your drivers.

I haven't adjusted the overclocking settings. Is a 76°C temperature normal for your GPU?

76 °C in full capacity is normal. You feel this stress only during the game Destiny or while running other intense titles?

This behavior is specific to Destiny. The tool I use for checking my temps often triggers a popup alert when the card reaches 76C, but in Destiny only the sound plays. Could this be redirecting me back to the desktop? And if so, is it safe to act on that warning?

No, I haven't checked the GPU yet. Have you already run some stress tests?

Ensure you perform a GPU stress test to verify consistent performance under controlled conditions. If the GPU succeeds without issues, remove Destiny entirely and reinstall it.
