Is there a problem with battery consumption when using Windows on a Mac?
Hello everyone.
My brother has been using Macs for years and feels very at ease with them. Now his Mac is running slowly, and for work he needs programs that only function on Windows... so he considered purchasing a new Mac to run Windows via emulation. I don’t remember the details, but he’s managed it before.
He usually chose the Mac because it had a battery that kept him going for several days without charging (plus, he’s an Apple fan—so he won’t change his mind!).
I’m not here to debate whether Windows or Mac is better, as there are many discussions about that.
My question is: if I’m not mistaken, the Mac’s battery lasts longer because it’s “optimized” for everything you do with the Mac system. But since you use the Mac 70% of the time to run Windows... maybe that “optimization” isn’t enough, and the computer drains almost as much as any other brand like HP or Dell.
Does this reasoning make sense?
