I recently purchased a Brother MFC-L2710DW on June 30, 2021. When I sent a page to print, the printer began but stopped after a few more pages. The second job I sent is the only one left in the queue and won’t cancel unless I restart my computer. The third job isn’t even in the queue at all. Does this device have no memory at all? My printer driver is up to date.

Also, since I’m retired and don’t use the computer much, I only have a third toner cartridge, which is the high-yield one. It’s supposed to handle around 3000 pages, but I’m only printing about 1000. That’s not making sense to me.

I’ve never encountered this issue with other Brother printers. Usually, I only change the toner every 7 months.

Can anyone assist me with these problems? Thank you.

Update your post with complete details about the hardware and operating system.
Specify the type, model, and capacity of disk drives, along with their current usage level.
Check the Reliability History for any error codes, warnings, or events linked to the printing and print queue issues.
Determine the connection method for the printer: USB direct, shared USB on another device, wired network, or wireless network.
Investigate whether other computers are also experiencing problems with the Brother printer.
Consider trying to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers, noting any previous updates that may have caused issues.
Identify where you are buying the toner cartridges—whether they are OEM from Brother or third-party brands.

See if other computers are also experiencing problems with the Brother printer.
Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers? (Note: "updated" might not have resolved the issue.)
Confirm where you are buying the toner cartridges—OEM from Brother or third-party brands?
It’s likely the original cartridge wasn’t fully loaded; reaching 3,000 pages was not included in the purchase and is often a common workaround when ink or toner is supplied with a new printer.
