This machine is two years old.
A random pop or click noise has been occurring recently, starting about 3 months ago and getting more frequent. It usually appears right after approximately 10 to 15 minutes of logging in, sometimes while working. This has never happened before. I usually ignore it, as the PC runs perfectly—no blue screens or stutters.
I've tried several fixes:
1. Changed the socket on the power supply
2. Opened the side and back panels
3. Removed the system fans
Any suggestions? I saw other discussions suggesting it might be due to case expansion or contact issues. However, I don’t think that’s the case. I’m also not sure if the noise comes from failing capacitors or something else. I checked the capacitors and found none swollen.

i think it’s likely this lower-grade power supply.
these parts were meant only for minimal power needs, not for gaming or heavy use.
though it might work fine now, i’m worried it could fail and damage connected devices.
even if it turns out to be something else causing the noise, i’d advise replacing it with a more stable, higher-quality PSU to avoid any serious issues.
Consider swapping the power supply. I don’t have funds for a premium PSU, so I’ll search for another 650-watt bronze-rated one, such as the Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze V2.
the bronze rating is unrelated to the dependability or construction standards of a power supply.
it simply reflects its energy efficiency classification.
when i mention "higher-tiered," i mean this rating isn't about it.
i'm talking about its overall construction and long-term reliability.
a reliable indicator has always been the warranty provided;
typically, 5 years or less suggests poor quality,
7 years indicates confidence in its overall performance,
and around 10 years usually points to the use of superior materials, placing it among the top-tier options.

It originated from that area, it's a black one. The most frequent source is the top left corner of MB. This has been demonstrated in the video.
Could replacing the motherboard be a typical step for your device?
