I'll look into Amazon once more, but I hadn't succeeded in locating a battery for that model before. Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone else bought chromebook batteries from different online shops?

Maybe I should check the battery level first, but how do you remove those plastic connectors to reach the screws?

Out of curiosity, I searched for "chromebook battery replacement" on Google and was surprised by the number of returns—batteries, tool kits, and service providers all involved. Post #6 stands out as one of those obvious lead generation tactics.

A lot of them seem a bit shaky, and I often can't locate the battery that fits my chromebook. The procedure isn't too complicated, but if I could just bring it to a nearby shop and have them do it, I'd consider it.

If you have a Batteries nearby it might be useful to contact them or visit a computer repair shop. Family-run shops usually cost less than places like Best Buy or Geek Squad.
