The link above isn't bad, but I'd skip Intel chips like the 13th and 14th Gen, even better yet, ignore the i9 models. AMD's AM5 X3D platform is top-notch right now. Are you only picking from pre-built boxes? If you're building yourself, here is an example: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a speed of 4.2 GHz and 8 cores for $399 at Amazon. Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE WHITE ARGB costing $43.90 at Amazon. Motherboard: ASRock B850M Steel Legend WiFi Micro ATX AM5 board selling for $179.99 at Amazon. Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB with 32 GB of DDR5-6000 CL36 RAM costing $97.99 at Newegg. Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 500 GB M.2 NVMe drive for $43.99 at Amazon, and another one called Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB also an M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive priced at $169.99 at Amazon. Video Card: MSI VENTUS 3X OC PLUS GeForce RTX 5080 with 16 GB costing $1409.99 at MSI. Case: Antec CX500M RGB MicroATX Mini Tower case for $150.94 at Amazon. Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 Snow 850 W 80+ Gold Certified fully modular power supply costing $99.99 at Amazon. Total price comes to $2595.78 including shipping, taxes, and discounts from Amazon. Generated by PCPartPicker on April 18, 2025, at 10:15 EDT with two SSDs included; one for your computer's operating system, apps, and programs while the bigger drive holds all your games. I recommend building your own because you know what goes into a system better than anyone else. If you want to build from scratch, here is some advice on how to style your request along with tips mentioned in this thread: *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice*. First of all, always respect where respect is owed - this version comes from an adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I made this page because there are tons of posts lately asking for upgrade advice both here and on CPU forums, and I feel like we need more help from places like forums. and the community to give good suggestions.

Do you have an answer ready, or are you asking me to buy you a screen?

I don't know if I feel like building my own this time. I kinda feel like just getting something off the shelf. I probably would get a new monitor. I don't even know what to buy anymore. There are so many different types of monitors. My current computer just has 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D3Y5PFZ?ref...in_title_5 Why? At least post the reason.

Most of them are using bad power supplies, so they aren't very well made.
