Is there a network problem with your CS2 repeated DC?
I face repeated disconnections in CS2 with a warning message about the remote host closing the connection. Despite following all official guides, no solution appears. I can quickly rejoin the game. The network alert is active in-game, and most connections seem stable, but sometimes packet loss spikes from 4% to 100%. This suggests a possible internet issue. My computer specs are listed in my signature; it’s my main PC. All drivers, Windows updates, game updates, and BIOS are current. I use Spectrum Internet with gigabit down. I connect via Spectrum modem to a TP-Link Deco WiFi 6 Mesh System (Deco X20), a TP-Link TL-SG105, and a 5-port Gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch. I have three routers—two act as range extenders. My PC connects through the router linked by wire to the modem via the switch. I see a similar problem happening with around 20 others online at once. I checked to make sure it wasn’t my internet—maybe it’s due to a college network setup. A friend in the same dorm is playing the game without issues, and I’ve tried everything but found nothing working.
