When no keyboard is connected, does the on-screen keyboard function correctly? Are there problems with any additional USB devices?

The main issue is the repeated letters on the keyboard.

Because the issue appears on both Windows and Linux systems, it seems there may be an unknown hardware problem. I'm really stuck and don't have any other ideas. It would be useful to test a wireless keyboard, either using Bluetooth or a wireless adapter.
