Hey forum,
Just got a new botherMOARd and now I see the issue—it won’t let me overclock my CPU because it can’t adjust the voltage. I should have done more research before buying this motherboard, but is there any way to somehow HACK it so it handles more heat from the PSU? Thanks!

Yeah, I think it's unlikely you'll be able to push the speed or voltage too much. Intel really restricted overclocking on most of their chipsets, except for the Z-series (like the Z68 in your case). I'm not sure if there are any hacks to BIOS that would let you overclock non-Z boards, but it sounds like it could be dangerous. Someone more experienced might confirm this, but I'm pretty certain you won't be able to do it with that board.

Are you certain about the motherboard and CPU you're using?
