Regrettably, the chance to change a Win 7 license to Win 10 has already passed.
Therefore, unless you performed the conversion previously, this license is no longer valid.

Certainly! Here is a rewritten version of your text:

So then, it seems the license might work for a fresh Windows 11 setup. Visit microsoft.com using your Microsoft account. In the Devices section, is your current computer listed there?

So far, this is where things stand.
From this morning, I realized the issue is that my drive uses an MBR.
I’m also trying to locate my license key just in case.
My Windows isn’t connected to my Microsoft account. I don’t use it much—it’s just a drive on my Linux machine.
Now I’ve logged into Windows with my Microsoft account, which I’ve only used for Outlook. Probably Hotmail... I guess.
It displays my device, but I can’t find my Windows key there either.

If connected to your MS account, you wouldn't require the license key. It would move automatically, or you might need to inform it about the new system and the removal of the old one.
