These ripjaws 4, V / trident / sniper x are overly complicated, and the Corsair Dominator might be the main factor. Or maybe it's all about the appearance and style.

Appearance and styling dominate the discussion. Earlier models suggest the Trident Z wasn't validated with Ryzen, whereas newer units such as the Sniper X have been tested. Performance metrics and possible die types are detailed in XMP profile specifications, not specific to the model.

For actual RAM performance, I’d review the specifications including timings and clock speed, plus the needed voltage. Most makers don’t build the memory dies themselves; they source components from suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.
