Hey everyone, I'm searching for solid local co-op games on PC. I recently enjoyed a way out with my partner a few weeks back, and now we're looking for something more story-driven.

Curious about your thoughts on shooters with controllers?

Resident Evil focuses more on immersive storytelling and tension rather than fast-paced combat mechanics, unlike games such as Gears of War.

Playing through castle break-ins is always entertaining on the couch. (I think the PC edition keeps the local co-op feature.)

It seems 6 also had a lot to consider, so I decided to look it up. Yeah, Lego has plenty of ideas too. I’m not sure how it would rank compared, though. Let’s see if we can find something better. The trine looks promising but the story feels quite family-oriented Big Grin. Overcooked makes sense as a party game like Mario Party or Gang Beasts—it might feel odd with just two players, and there’s no real narrative.

Another friend tried to persuade me once, but I just couldn't connect with it.

I’ll check all your suggestions, but I stumbled on something specific this weekend: "Beyond - Two Souls."
