Look for an Android camera app that supports 16:9 resolution at 720p. Ensure it offers advanced recording options and the ability to save videos directly to an SD card.

It seems you're referring to a default setting or function. Could you clarify what you'd like me to rewrite or explain? I'm here to help!

The main purpose of a separate camera app is limited compared to the built-in one. It should support saving photos to an SD card and recording in a standard 16:9 format by default. If it doesn’t, share your concerns about what makes it insufficient.

The Cyanogenmod camera app offers similar capabilities, though you may miss certain features unless you're using their ROM. This depends on specific drivers being installed.

I frequently notice the CM camera app picture doesn't match the quality of the OEM version using its drivers. -- By the way, the top free cam app is Google Camera; new ones don't bring in extra features since they depend on driver support.

I don't have personal experiences, but you might want to consider what tools or capabilities would help you better.
