I lack sufficient storage capacity and cannot afford another disk. I aim to compress videos as much as possible without any quality loss or at least minimal degradation. When shooting with the Roadrunner 505 Prestigio camera, which offers three resolutions—1920x1080, 1440x1080, and 1280x720—I need to decide whether to pick the highest or the lowest resolution. The maximum FPS remains at 30 for normal or medium settings, while 25 is achieved at the highest resolution of 1920x1080. Should I prioritize higher resolution or higher frame rate? Is it better to select quality in camera settings independently of resolution choices? Should I consider purchasing a 4K or 8K monitor today? I don’t require many pixels for gaming, and my graphics card is outdated. However, using such a monitor for editing photos in programs like Adobe Photoshop or Premiere would make the interface difficult to read.

The Roadrunner 505 Prestigio is a dash cam device. What kind of film are you capturing?

Additional compression isn't enough to significantly free up storage capacity.

I don’t own a car, but I just found a camera in a dumpster. I’m poor, so I couldn’t buy a new one. I’d like to use it to record nature during winter. A new highway is being built near my home, and I make films to send to my cousins abroad because they want to know what’s happening in my village.

It's a worn-out dashcam you discovered in the trash.
Good to know it still functions.
