Is there a CMOS battery in my laptop?
I own an LG 13Z990 Gram laptop. It's five years old and is used only occasionally for conferences, so it remains idle most of the time. Recently, I tried to start it and encountered a couple of problems:
1) every website I attempt to visit appears as insecure, regardless of the browser, and I couldn't access any of them. I don’t know how to fix this.
2) the time and date shown is from last October when I last used the device. I thought the CMOS battery was dead, so I opened the cover expecting it to be there. It wasn’t. Google doesn’t assist me in determining whether this laptop has a CMOS battery, and I couldn’t find any YouTube videos showing how to replace it. Ebay also doesn’t list any CMOS batteries for this model.
Any advice on what to do next?
Bonus question: Is there a way on the website to view my previous posts? I thought it would be available when clicking on my name, but it isn’t.

Browser might require an update. It's also possible the browser is configured to only allow HTTPS connections. Have you attempted updating your date and time, then leaving it powered on for a short period to check if this resolves the issue? Some devices keep CMOS settings active through an internal capacitor, which refreshes when charging or in use.
This occurs with Chrome, Edge and FireFox. It seems unrelated to browser settings. I tried charging the battery and it didn’t help. I could adjust the computer date but didn’t find a 'save' option. The time change feature wasn’t available either. No action from clicking anything.

It's worth noting, though. I'm planning to install a second SSD for the system (two bays exist, one with a 250 Gb drive. A 1 Tb drive will arrive tomorrow). Would the placement of the drives affect performance? Currently the smaller drive is in the left slot. Should I move the operating system to the larger drive? Placing it in the left slot as the primary would be correct, right? No need for further clarification.
