TL;DR The computer starts up properly but shows no screen, even with a fresh GPU and updated cables across two monitors.

Check the video output on your motherboard first, to confirm image presence. If successful, the issue likely lies with your GPU.

My motherboard doesn’t support integrated graphics, so I need a GPU to display any video output.

The typical solution is to use the GPU on another machine, or switch to a different GPU on your current setup.

I also tried that when my "new" card came. Both my old and new card functioned on my father's PC, but they didn’t work at all on his. I changed all cables and reinserted each card several times in the two PCIe slots he has. I’m not sure what caused the problem—just that a week ago my PC worked fine, I played a game then crashed it, and now it won’t respond to BIOS because it seems like nothing is connected.

I experienced a similar issue where connecting my system to a 2K monitor for a while caused it not to revert to 1080p automatically, leading to a display problem. Try using another monitor.

I usually use a 1440p monitor, but both the one I own and the one I tested are also 1440p. My PC has always been linked only to that resolution, regardless of the cable type I use. The cables I have are confirmed to work.
