I aimed to retrieve the Windows 10 installation ISO for archiving and potential use in Ventoy. The search results indicated that Microsoft now promotes the download as "Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File)" and provides an installer media creator. It seems the direct ISO download may have been removed, but there is still an official link available.

Windows 10's assistance ends near the close of this year, so consider switching to Windows 11. Still, making the installation media is straightforward; you won't have to rely on third-party tools once you obtain the ISO.

I understand that. My new build includes 11 features, but I need 10 for archiving purposes. This is necessary for compatibility with an older system that doesn't support Win11 or for a feature exclusive to Windows 10. Microsoft is known for eliminating functionalities that older users rely on. For instance, MSPaint now lacks certain brush sizes, and winhlp32.exe from XP is still handy for viewing legacy help files.

I still have Windows 98, Me, XP, and 7 installed. There might be 3.11 and 95 available if I search through them. I possess a Vista DVD given by an MS MVP, though I never used it. I also have most versions of Irfanview dating back over 25 years. It could just be a quirk or OCD if you prefer.
