Checking the latest updates for Far Cry 4 has helped address some performance issues such as stuttering and frame rate. As a Titan X player, you should be able to enjoy the game smoothly. Recent reviews from YouTube are now available since the game's release.

Do you own Far Cry 3? If you're looking for a great price right now, I'd recommend it because it's currently discounted by 75%.

I thought FC3 was a better game, honestly.

To achieve maximum performance, you'd need a 970. I tried an Asus model but ended up with the game. Later, I used an EVGA 970 for Assassin's Creed and felt the system was struggling.

I possess Far Cry 3. It was a solid title and gave me about 48 hours of playtime. As you mentioned, OP, I’m keen to take advantage of the Steam sale. I just wish the latest updates addressed most of the problems from launch.
