After installing the new CPU, my PC failed to power on and the monitor, keyboard, and mouse didn’t activate promptly. The power supply shut down automatically after a few seconds, and the same happened with the other one. It seems the issue might be related to the motherboard, so a replacement might be necessary. I’ve ordered a new one to arrive tomorrow.

CPU just upgraded from the r5 2600x where I faced crashes due to overheating, now running on a r9 5900x
CPU cooler is black rock 2
Motherboard is ASUS Prime b450m k-II
Memory is Corsair vengeance 2x DDR4 16gb. I had two spare sticks, which didn’t seem to be the problem
Storage is Western Digital SSD 1TB and 256GB NVME
Power supply is RM850x, tested on another PSU and also experienced shutdowns after a few seconds
Operating system is W10
I suspect the issue is with the motherboard because of the multiple problems I ordered a new b450m tomorrow
Additionally, I was able to boot into BIOS after replacing the CPU initially. However, this occurred when I adjusted the RAM speeds, and it was at that moment that I began experiencing issues after restarting the PC.
