Hello.
I recently got a new CPU cooler and installed it properly. When I tried to turn on the PC, I received a 'no video' beep error. After inspecting the HDMI connection on the GPU, the issue was resolved. The PC booted up and functioned normally until it suddenly went black. I restarted it but still got no video output or any beeps.

I followed standard troubleshooting steps—checked all connections, used a single RAM stick, swapped RAM slots, checked drives, GPU, and CMOS battery—but nothing helped. Eventually, I tried turning the PC on without any components plugged in: first the RAM, then the hard drives, GPU, and CMOS battery. Still no video or beeps.

I also have a beeper in my PC.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

It's worth mentioning that nearly everything except the RAM sticks and drives is still in great condition. You can also find an earlier update on my profile about their purchase.

Disassembled the device and examined the CPU closely. Found some moisture in the center between the pins. Cleaned it up, rebuilt it with just one RAM module, and it started working. Then I turned it off, assumed it was fixed, connected all USB ports and the additional RAM stick, but the same problem reappeared. Also experimented with the RAM again, but nothing changed.

By "humidity" do you refer to a thin layer of water or droplets? If yes, it could have caused permanent damage to your CPU if a conductive connection formed between components. Alternatively, you might have noticed the gold contacts turning tarnish because of overheating. This is not a favorable sign. Did the cooler use an AIO (filled with liquid) or just a large metal heatsink with a fan?

Minute drops of liquid. That's quite strange, especially since I didn't remove the cpu before this problem occurred.

I disassembled it to the simplest point and still found nothing.

Can I start from BIOS? If possible, execute metest86. You should see no issues.
What is your BIOS version?
If it's outdated, please upgrade to the latest.
