Is the motherboard dead but can it be brought back to life, and is it safe to use?
Hi,
The PC was functioning properly until I powered it down and shut it off. When I tried to restart, it didn’t come to life at all. I checked everything, removed all parts except the essentials, but nothing worked. I attempted a jump start using a screwdriver, which caused frustration since it didn’t work. After that, it started immediately when I connected it again. It seems the GPU or monitor isn’t connected yet, but it should be able to boot normally now. Are things safe to use as before?
Specs:
MOBO: Gigabyte H81M-D2W
CPU: I5 4460
RAM: Corsair Vengeance
PSU: Bequiet 630w
The model and age of the PSU are unclear due to the discrepancy between the brand and the advertised wattage.
it came out in 2012

but hasn't been widely utilized
you're the one who owns the PSU, we don't know how it was used unless you provide more details.
and if you read my response I used this PSU to power a different system
what would the specifications be for that other setup?
