Hi guys, I'm facing an issue where my laptop slows down or freezes during file rebuilding with IDM and becomes sluggish when using WinRAR for extraction. This happens on my HDD drive, even though I'm using an SSD for the C: drive. I'm also not sure why performance drops even when the SSD isn't doing any tasks other than running Windows 10. Please help! P/s: When I tried to play a game on SSD storage with IDM rebuilding files, it also made the game start extremely slow.

why do you need a bug-filled download manager at all? what's inside the rar files? how large are they? are they actually games?

I'm not sure which option to choose next. The file is the game file and its size is 15GB.

Any PC will slow down when handling such large sizes and numerous small files needing compression, which is typical for archive extraction. Download managers consume a lot of resources, so I don’t use them. Getting games in WinRAR archives often just means downloading stolen copies, so that’s all the help you’ll receive from me.

the downloads are happening on asus rog devices, and they're asking about the amount of ram used by those models.
