What the heck was with that video?
When you re-pasted, are you 100% certain that everything was reattached properly?

Sorry, I don't understand why the video appears this way. It seems the storage on my phone is nearly full. I did the repaste a few days back and temperatures were normal. We're running at 60°C idle and around 90°C under load.

Are the fans operating correctly?
Are all thermal pads securely positioned?
Check the video at the provided link.
How long has the laptop been used?
Are you relying solely on the battery or also using the charger?
Test without the battery (disconnect the main battery from the motherboard) and use only the charger.

Yes, all the pads remain secure, the laptop is quite old, I only used the charger, and I plan to try it without the charger as well.

Consider trying installation using only battery power (system operates more slowly and generates less heat).

It looks like you might have altered the steps when pasting the CPU. This adjustment could be the main reason for the current problem.

Verify all tiny ribbon cable connectors that might have come loose.
