Over the last two days, my mouse has been disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly, sometimes shutting down most of my USB ports. At first, I assumed it was a hardware issue, so I tried updating chipset drivers, BIOS, reinstalling universal serial bus controllers, updating graphics drivers, reinstalling mouse drivers, and even the Logitech gaming software. None of these fixes worked, which makes me wonder if the mouse itself is the problem. This issue only occurs when I’m actively using the mouse, unlike when I played VR for two hours without any problems. It seems to happen more when I rapidly move the mouse, which is important for gaming. Do you think it’s the mouse or my hardware? Could a mouse alone cause USB issues? I should also note that during gaming yesterday, my entire PC froze briefly and all USB ports stopped working.

You'll understand better after removing the mouse from consideration...

I just checked my old mouse (the same model as the other one) and the problem didn’t occur again, so it seems the mouse is likely the cause. However, a defective mouse could definitely be responsible for all the USB issues you described.
