Is the I7-7700k Better than the Ryzen 5 3600
Hello, I understand this tech question is confusing. I’m considering the RTX 3060 Ti but noticed a significant performance gap with the i7-7700K. While there aren’t many videos showing the i7-7700K with the RTX 3060 Ti on YouTube, the RTX 3060 Ti seems to outperform the Ryzen 5 3600 in most cases. I’ve been planning a big upgrade—card, CPU, motherboard, and power supply—but now I’m leaning toward sticking with the i7-7700K since the Ryzen 5 3600 has proven reliable. (Userbenchmark RTX 3060 Ti vs Ryzen 5 3600) Let me know if you need more details! Thank you.
It feels a bit disappointing with your i7-7700k, but hey, it’s okay. Do you know anyone who switched to something better? Any suggestions on what CPU might work well for you?
Choose the more affordable option between the i5 12400 and the r5 5600. Both will provide good performance compared to what you have now. For a tighter budget, consider the i3 12100—it remains a quad-core processor but offers significant speed improvements over older models.
Theres the 12100, 12400, and 5600 depending on your budget You can also just overclock it, i mean get an oc ~4.8-5g and you should still have a decent performer of a cpu, if it overheats you can delid pretty easily, i myself delidded with a thin razor i got from one of those (destructively) dissasembled generic shaving tools, i delidded a p4 so needed a candle to melt the solder but since this is garbage tim you can just take it off pretty easy without any heat needed, you can even use a generic chinese delid tool which are like 5$
