Yeah, I use Afterburner myself, but I can't seem to figure out how/where to set the temperature limit.
You don't have a custom fan profile set in AB?
I usually leave my fans on auto. But even if I create a custom profile, I can't see anywhere where I can set a temp limit. If I google and look at a few screenshots, it looks like there should be a slider underneath Power Limit where you can set you temp limit, which presumably causes the card to throttle once it hits that temperature. But that slider doesn't exist for me.
Hate to repeat myself, but what skin do you have, and have you updated recently?
Oops, missed your other post. I'm at the most recent version, 4.1.1. I tried switching to one of the skins you mentioned and now I can see the temp limit slider, but it's greyed out.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You might try starting a thread on here.

After some research, it seems AMD cards don't allow setting a temperature limit in AB. That would be interesting if it existed. Curious about the control features included with the Catalyst tools.

All the other features in AB function properly; I can still overclock it without issues. The only problem seems to be the temperature limit, which doesn’t work. In the end, you don’t really need one—though it would be useful. If I were worried about exceeding a certain temperature, I’d create a custom fan profile that activates at 80 or 85°C.
