It's not accurate—I also have a heavily modified Skyrim setup. Some mods can coexist, though they may not perform optimally. Consider turning off certain flora/fauna mods.

It's true, I relied heavily on Steam Workshop for most of the mods. It wasn't a big issue since they had a limited graphics collection, making it simpler to just sign up for everything at once.

I appreciate that, but humor aside, are you operating the game from your main storage? Occasionally textures fail to load if they're on a separate drive.

This might be the issue—it can be slow, but the best method for fully updating Skyrim is to add each mod separately using Nexus Mod Manager.
