It's a classic game. It's quite problematic. Have you heard of any crashes? The program freezes, but I can access the pause menu. I've looked into my card drivers to rule out that issue. I'm using Windows 10.

Mine never loads properly, even when starting. It crashes immediately before the intro animations appear. The best solution is to use the compatibility troubleshooter on Windows 8.1 each time I play.

It's strange since it functioned perfectly just a week prior, and I hadn't made many changes to my computer. Probably those Windows updates were the cause. I recall the problem started with Borderlands 2 too, and after switching to Win 98 ME (!), loading times became extremely slow.

I encountered a problem that caused it to crash at startup. I resolved it by running it as an administrator. However, I made some changes to the Steam settings.

It launches normally for me...but I’m unable to move the character. The world seems stuck, yet I can still reach the pause menu.
