Last month I had two ASUS RT-AX55 routers connected to AIMesh. After about two weeks everything worked fine, but then one day my PC connection would drop unexpectedly. Also, I couldn't access the router's webpage at 192.168.1.1. After restarting it, things started working again, though in the logs I saw these error messages around March 2nd.

Reset both devices to their original settings using the router’s operating system. Install the newest firmware available from the Asus website. Flash the update only if you’re connected directly to the hardware. Once updated, let the system boot and return to factory defaults via the router OS. Then reconfigure each unit according to your preferences.

dnsmasq functions as a basic DNS and DHCP server. It probably attempts to save a DHCP lease to "/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases," but this fails due to insufficient memory or disk space. The issue appears fixable by restarting the device, suggesting the file is temporarily in RAM. Are there many clients on your network? It may indicate a software bug in the router that gradually fills RAM, preventing essential tasks like issuing DHCP leases or managing web interfaces. Check for available firmware updates.

Before this problem, both Roters were already updated to the newest firmware and then reset afterward. Clients connected via Wi-Fi 6 or using cable 5.

Turn off unnecessary features like AiProtect and IPv6 unless needed. Use WPA2/AES for wireless security instead of TKIP or WPA1. If your devices run in standard router mode, do you encounter similar issues? Does your router have a stats page that displays memory and CPU usage?

Check the CPU usage and memory activity—no statistics are available. AIprotect is disabled, but the traffic analyzer remains active; it's unclear why these options are removed. It seems I'm not managing most settings effectively. Also, AES/WPA2 is currently enabled.

turn off AiCloud, disable firewall logging or filters under Advanced > Firewall, and stop ping/DNS queries from Administration > System > Network Monitoring. Also, check how the devices behave in standard (non-mesh) mode without it.

they've never run without Aimesh, I tried everything you suggested, so I'll wait and observe the results. AIcloud isn't present at all; the firewall is off, ping and DNS are also down.
