Is the entire PC crashing due to a Discord screenshot?
I was sharing a screenshot of Microsoft Flight Simulator on Discord when my whole PC restarted. My system specs are 4080S, 7800X3D, B650 Aorus Elite AX, and a 750W PSU from Corsair. Was the PSU the problem? I’ve done several benchmark and stress tests, and it never happened before. CPU and GPU temperatures look normal, and I believed the PSU provided enough space so such an issue wouldn’t occur. Any suggestions? Thanks!
750W PSU from Corsair – Corsair is the manufacturer, 750W is the stated power output. What model is it? Has it been operating for a long time? Current BIOS version on your motherboard? How is the processor being cooled? Are you using room air or another cooling method? Your temperatures and the PC's temperature just before shutdown are being monitored.
Hi, this situation occurred only once now, but the current room temperature inside the house is 72 degrees C while I'm using an air cooler. The power supply unit is brand new, and I set up the PC about a month ago. The BIOS version is FB from July 10, 2023. Appreciate you checking out my post!
I also refreshed my graphics driver, though I'm not sure it matters much.
