Hello, I’m considering purchasing the deepcool Morpheus with a 420mm radiator support and 200mm fan support. I want to know if adding fans in the slots next to the motherboard would improve cooling. I’m uncertain because it might change the airflow direction and affect performance. Additionally, I’m interested in the airflow quality, noise level, and the best fan configuration for optimal cooling and quiet operation. This is my main concern.

Skip the fans beside the mobo and use the usual fan arrangement. The front intake fans should be sufficient.

It seems like you're configuring the setup to direct the exhaust through the side of the module plate. The front intake fans might not need to be used, and you could bypass the top and bottom fans entirely, focusing only on the rear exhaust.

I’m considering a directional airflow from left to right.
