Hello everyone,
My CPU temperature fluctuates from 55 to 75 degrees during game loading and then returns to normal. It seems this issue is new, with no prior changes noted except a Windows update and an Nvidia driver installation.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
the game is loading
Include the title to the game and where you sourced the installer for said game from.

75c isn't overheating, it's nowhere near that level.

The CPU fan is acting strangely. Is there anything unusual about this happening now? Should I be concerned?

Stock coolers from Intel for LGA1700 are not just poor, but extremely bad. I recommend upgrading to something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE or the Deepcool AK620, as these CPU coolers are compatible with Intel LGA1700 and ideal for your requirements!

It's not the best cooler you could have.
Invest in a solid tower-style one.
Certain games might be running shader compilations at the start.
This can really strain the CPU and quickly raise temperatures.

And I believe certain games require heavy CPU power, which might result in increased temperatures during play.
