Is the CPU limiting performance and the temperature monitoring stops working over time?
I'm dealing with a really puzzling issue I've been stuck on. Even after a fresh Windows install, the problem persists. My monitoring tools keep failing—adrenaline, iCue, hwinfo stop working. CPU temperatures freeze and don't update, even under heavy load, and Task Manager shows it running below base speed. It's clearly a hardware problem. I've sent dxdiag and msinfo to AMD, who confirmed everything was fine. I've attached a video of the issue. I don't want to waste money on a new motherboard or CPU; my temps are normal otherwise.
It looks like your BIOS might be displaying incorrect information or some sensors aren't functioning correctly. Is your BIOS current? Windows power Plan reaches maximum processor usage at 100%, but even at 99% it doesn't permit frequencies above the base speed. Are boost and PBO features activated in BIOS?
