tier lists are merely about orientation.
I would never label the core reactor VE as an A tier unit—just because it’s a reduced version of the Core Reactor II CSE platform from CWT, and capXon is considered a basic model. Yes, it would be ideal if they were certified at 105°C, but having an 85°C cap on the secondary side could lead to a shorter lifespan. Since these caps must handle higher temperatures than the main primary units, overall it’s not the power supply that’s the issue, but tier B is the most suitable choice for this model.
It’s interesting to note that in another discussion you mentioned RMe is only recommended for "office" builds and is essentially a weak unit.
Yet here you’re referring to CR VE as an A tier unit...
Curiously, RMe (2025) actually offers a better mix of secondary-side capacitors compared to the VE.
In summary, they’re both in the same tier (B)—not terrible, but not outstanding. Both come with a 7-year warranty.
The VE uses a more complex double-sided PCB design, but overall their performance is nearly identical.
They both support mid-range gaming systems, though I wouldn’t suggest them unless there are no superior alternatives available.
OP: among those three units, the core reactor VE remains the top choice.
Unless you can find something better at a similar price with a 10-year warranty.
Some recommendations:
CORE REACTOR II
CORSAIR RMx 3.1 (2024)
SUPER FLOWER LEADEX VII XG

Secondary side caps are also rated 105C. Therefore, where should you source the 85C rated ones?

It looks like you have valuable information to guide your choice. Make the most of what’s available within your budget. There’s no point in overanalyzing the options—every one should be sufficient.

Here are a few points to note;
When you have funds for a GPU over 600 USD, you'll also have the means to purchase around 150 USD for a Tier A PSU.

Don't bother asking about quality PSUs if you don't have the budget.

Actually, I don't hear about the budget since I purchase premium GPUs, which doesn't necessarily mean I can afford a top-tier PSU.

And in my country super flower isn't available, Corsair PSUs are quite costly, and there aren't any ATX 3.1 PSUs from them, while Seasonic's focus seems limited. The best option is XPG Reactor LL, though I'm worried about the 12VHPWR.

Make sure to grab that one. The 850W model works just fine. Your previous tips were helpful. It's a solid power supply.
