Hi there,
I've been thinking about adding the LT100 lighting towers to my setup, but two seems a bit excessive for my desk space. Since I already have the ST100 RGB headset stand, using just one tower would work: place the ST100 on the right and the LT100 on the left.

The main question is whether I can purchase the LT100 expansion kit (just one tower) instead of buying the full starter kit. You'd connect one tower via USB for iCUE control, then link the others together. Given that all towers—whether from the starter kit or the expansion kit—come with a latched Dupont header for daisy-chaining and an USB port for iCUE on all images, it seems like I could simply get the expansion kit and run just one tower.

Thanks in advance for your help!

In my opinion, I would pass the headset stand on to a sibling or friend as a gift or consider selling it, because the starter kit includes an attachment for holding headsets.

If you recently purchased this item, it's unlikely you can operate it without the included power source, unless your existing unit features an expansion port. Modify the same kind of port.
