It would suffice as long as the pump continues functioning. This applies to the older GTX model, which is likely no longer under warranty.

I experienced a problem last week with my CPU temperatures reaching 99°C upon booting, accompanied by loud noises from the case. After restarting, everything seemed normal, though I suspect the pump might have been involved.
